Taylor Made has a very good reputation for manufacturing some of the best drivers in the world with inivate design, long distance and maximum control.

LOFTS

Taylor Made drivers are available in a variety of lofts to suit golfers of all abilities and the way they play the game. The greater the amount of loft the higher the ball flight will be. Higher lofts are recommended for average golfers or players with a slower swing speed. Lower lofts will keep the ball lower and allow it to roll further. Lower lofts are best suited to more experienced players and golfers with faster swing speeds.

SHAFTS

Virtually all Taylor Made drivers come with graphite shafts, either Taylor Made or Fujikura. These are offered in a range of flex's from soft regular, regular, stiff and extra stiff. Golfers with slower swing speeds will gain distance from using regular flex shafts whilst experienced golfers with faster more powerful swings will gain greater accuracy from the stiff or extra stiff shaft options.

R7 Super Quad

All-Black 460 cc clubhead with 26 grams of movable weight in four ports that promote 28-yard lateral trajectory change and 1.5ºlaunch-angle change. (Includes two 12g and two 1g weights). Massive 460 cc clubhead combined with TaylorMade's Inverted Cone Technology produces an extremely-high eMOI* that exceeds 5800 (USGA conforming)

Exceptionally low-deep CG and massive clubface area makes this driver exceptionally easy to launch on a high, strong trajectory for long carry and phenomenal distance. TaylorMade RE*AX 65 shaft by Fujikura reduces ovaling in the mid-section and promotes stability, consistency and increased clubhead speed.

Taylor Made Burner

SuperFast Technology reduces total club weight to 299 grams from average of 320 and promotes faster swing speed for added drive-crushing distance. Advanced bullet-shaped clubhead incorporates far-back CG location to launch the ball high and super-deep.

I currently play with the older 9.5 degree R7 with a stiff shaft and have not yet had the chance to try any of the later models, mainly because I am so happy with my R7 that I do not want to change it. I get a good ball flight with great distance, it is set up for a draw which has helped to cure my slight fade. I is a nice easy club to hit and is the best driver I have tried so far.
