Shake to relax muscles before you put

Make sure your muscles are free from tension when you are around the greens, this promotes feel and touch which are two vital qualities required to be a good putter.

Before you address the ball lean your putter against your leg and let your arms hang down freely. Now shake your hands a couple of times to relieve muscle tightness, when you come to address the ball you should be much more relaxed.
