Winter greens, don't change your stroke

In the winter months the greens will be not as good as the summer and will be slower and more bumpy. The grass on the green can be a bit woolly which will stop the ball rolling smoothly.

In the winter you are bound to get the occasional put wander off line on the uneven surface. Don't try and adjust your stroke just concentrate on making a good stroke and don't worry if all your puts don't drop it is too easy to start to doubt you stroke thinking there is something wrong with your stroke when it is the greens that are at fault.

Be patient and don't change your technique as good greens will not be far away.
